John Copeland of Iver (5 July 1753 – 6 July 1832) on whose death bought by Eden Fox. Acquired from the estate of Eden Fox by John Copeland's grandson, John Batten of Aldon (1815-1900); his grandson Col. H.C.C. Batten DSO of Aldon (d.1939) and by descent in the Batten family at Ryme Intrinseca, Dorset.
